During your stay you must use the Accommodation in an orderly fashion without causing a nuisance and in full compliance with any instructions or guidelines set out in your booking confirmation, in the welcome, within the Accommodation or as you may be informed by ourselves
Accommodation
A respectful level of noise is required after 11pm. Guests must leave the communal areas tidy, with all crockery and glasses put away and bins emptied.
Smoking
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted anywhere within the Accommodation or the Hanley house building. Please ask for an ashtray and you may smoke outside the property but not within the vicinity of non-smokers
Private Catering
A 25% deposit is required to secure our private catering.
The final numbers, dietary requirements, allergy information and payment is due one month prior to the event. Any cancellations once final numbers have been given must still be paid for.
All drinks must be purchased through our bar during service. Alternatively, guests can pay a corkage fee.
Damage
Guests must take all reasonable precautions to ensure that no damage occurs to the Accommodation, its finishes, fittings, furniture and contents or any other rooms at Hanley house and that the Accommodation is left in an acceptable condition at the end of the Booking. In the event of damage or the Accommodation requiring extra cleaning beyond that reasonably expected, we may at our own option have such damage repaired or damaged items replaced or repaired or obtain extra cleaning services and charge you for the cost.
All linen is provided including towels. Should linen be damaged or removed from the Accommodation you will be liable to pay on demand the amount required to made good or remedy.
Online privacy
The information we collect:
Personal data regarding guests, other individuals with whom we do business or who visit us may be collected in an electronic, oral or written format, in the form of: Title, name, telephone number, e-mail address, postal address including postcode, access requirements, nationality, credit/debit card details, dietary requirements, business details. Transaction information: including payment, reservation and booking details.
Participation details including events, special occasions and others, where you provide us with detailed information such as menu pre-orders.
Guest stay information, including dates of arrival and departure, special requests made, observations regarding room and food and beverage preferences, information necessary to fulfill special health condition related requests.
Customer communication preferences and feedback, including marketing preferences.
Information collected using closed-circuit television systems and internet systems (wireless network that collects data about devices and locations).
Much of the personal information we process is information that you or someone acting on your behalf knowingly provides to us. However, in other instances, we process personal information that we are able to infer about you based on other information you provide to us or during our interactions with you, or personal information about you that we receive from a third party. This policy also applies to the personal information about you that we receive from a third party, unless specifically covered by such third party’s privacy policy.
Why we collect personal information
Data is used for the following and will be held as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose.
To provide and charge for bed and breakfast accommodation, events and other goods and services.
To send information communications (e.g. reservation and booking confirmations/enquiry replies/payment, detail and appointment reminders/follow ups etc) and seasonal greetings.
Advertising, analytics and for sending marketing communications such as a newsletter. If you have agreed to receive marketing communications from us, you may opt out or change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us.
To provide for the safety and security of staff, guests and visitors.
To fulfil contractual agreements to companies such as those arranging g
roup travel or company accommodation.
To process credit applications.
Data is used exclusively by Hanley house and its authorised partners. Data collected will not be passed on or sold to any other third parties.
